What a blessing it is to know that we have an inheritance in heaven. Jesus came to this earth to pay for our sins by dying on the cross. He conquered death and was raised from the grave. By His grace we are saved if we believe in Him. We are assured that God always keeps His promises, and He promised eternal life and as adopted sons and daughters (as mentioned in the previous post), we have an inheritance. Today I want to share with you how much God loves you. He changed my life so much and filled my heart with joy. He never gave up on me and He won’t give up on you. His desire is that all will be saved. God the Father sent His one and only Son, Jesus who is God, came to this earth to save us by taking the sins of the world on His shoulders and gave His life by dying on the cross, to be raised from the dead on the third day to sit on the right hand of God the Father.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done by God.”
We are saved by grace (a gift of God through His Son) through faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus.
