I remember watching the Charlie Brown Christmas special. With all the hustle and bustle of shopping and gifts and trees and decorations, we lose sight of what Christmas is all about. But Linus got it right. Remember? He recited part of Luke 2. ‘Christ’mas is not about any of that. It is about the birth of our Savior.

Let the Children Come to Me
God has high regard for children. Throughout scripture He speaks of children often, that we are to love them, care for them and even be like them. He calls those who believe children of God. He sent His Son as a Child, to become the Savior of the world.
Mark 10:14-16
“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. God’s Promises: Our Inheritance
What a blessing it is to know that we have an inheritance in heaven. Jesus came to this earth to pay for our sins by dying on the cross. He conquered death and was raised from the grave. By His grace we are saved if we believe in Him. We are assured that God always keeps His promises, and He promised eternal life and as adopted sons and daughters (as mentioned in the previous post), we have an inheritance.
