So we made the decision to accept the free gift that God has given us by believing in Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead. What next? Who is Jesus, the Son of God?

People say many things to say about Jesus Christ. There is much to say about Him. God the Father has much to say about Him. Those who saw Him had much to say about Him. Many say He was a prophet. Many say He was a good teacher. Many say He was crazy. Many rejected Him. Few say He did not exist; there were too many witnesses and too much written about Him. But we all have to decide who we think He is. I know with all my heart that He is God the Son, sent to this earth by God the Father to pay for our sins. Jesus Christ is our Salvation.

There is nothing God can’t do and there is nobody He can’t save.

And, no matter what we have done in life, He still loves us and wants us to come back to Him. As it says in 2 Peter 3:9, He is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” Second, we should not be jealous of others and we need to be humble and not self-righteous, because we all fall short. As Paul says in Romans 3:23, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

God’s Plan Through Jesus and the Cross

We have been discussing Jesus’ words on the cross.  God had a plan all along.  Jesus proclaimed that He accomplished it.  God spoke through Isaiah nearly 800 years earlier about this time.  Daniel mentions the coming of the Messiah over 400 years earlier and gives a specific date.  God’s message gave hope, and that hope was through Jesus Christ.
