Why does Jesus call Himself The Son of Man? What does this tell us about Him? As it says in John 1:2, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” Jesus is fully God and fully human. He is Emmanuel, “God with Us.” Jesus, Yeshua, “The Lord is Salvation.” He humbled Himself to become a man, born of a virgin, relatable, went through the sufferings and temptations that we go through, and He died for our sins, paid the price, and rose again to sit at the right hand of God the Father.
