The work is done. All is accomplished. The sacrifice was made. The penalty was paid. We have been reconciled and redeemed. All is forgiven. The purpose of Jesus’ ministry and the cross comes down to this moment. It is finished. No longer are we separated from God. No longer is there a need for sacrifice. Our sins are wiped away. Nothing we can do can earn that. Jesus Christ did it all for you and me. He gave us grace and mercy. He gave us the faith. We just need to believe and trust in Him. Continue reading “It is Finished”
