I Thirst

How often Jesus used the analogy of water to get His point across.  He calmed the sea.  He walked on water.  He turned water into wine.  He offered living water to those who believe by paying for our sins on the cross.  As Jesus was on the cross, He shows His humanness here.  He was thirsty.   He could have used His power in the same way.  But He didn’t.  He chose  to fulfill His purpose on earth by paying for our sins through His blood.  He chose to offer each of us living water. Shine Your Light

 

Next in our series on what we should do once we are saved is to share that good news with others.  We need to be a testimony for Jesus Christ, live in a way that people know we are children of God and invite others to have that gift that we received.

  • Share what the Lord has done for you to those around you.  This is an act of love, to tell the truth so that others can know God.  Be baptized.  It does not save you, but it is an outward testimony of your faith in Jesus Christ.
