God’s Grace

John 3:16-21 reveals God’s love for us by His grace (please read my post called, “God Loves You!”).  Nothing we can do will earn salvation. It’s not by doing good deeds, praying a certain prayer, knowing the Bible or going to church, although those are all good things. You do need to repent, which means to turn from your self-centered way of thinking (we first need to realize that we are all sinners and need a Savior and only through Jesus Christ are we saved, see Romans 3:23-26) and allow God to work in your life. Accept God’s grace He has offered to you. What is grace? It is unmerited favor. It is the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf. It is the merciful gift God offers us. Romans 5:8 says, “God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us.” Continue reading “God’s Grace”
