Of Angels and Demons

Do you believe in ghosts? I do not. Do you believe in guardian angels? I do not. Do we each have our own angel looking over us? No. Do people become angels when they die? No. Why? You ask. Because it is not in scripture. What is in scripture is that there are demons and angels fighting amongst us. The devil works hard to destroy us. Value of the Kingdom

Today we will discuss the last of the parables of Jesus in this series. Here He talks about the value of the Kingdom of Heaven. Is it a sin to be rich? I don’t think that is what Jesus is saying. But what we do with them may be. Who or what do you put your trust in? It is hard to let go. It is hard to live for Christ. But with God, all things are possible. No matter what we have done, no matter who we think we are, we can be saved because of what Christ has done. God can use us to do great things. There is nothing God can’t do and there is nobody He can’t save.

Lazarus and the Rich Man: Heaven

In the third part of my post about Lazarus and the rich man (Luke 16:19-31), we will discuss heaven; what it might be like and the hope and assurance that those who love God and believe in Jesus Christ will spend eternity with Him there. What a great gift God has offered us, if we only accept it by believing and trusting in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
