I lived in the far corner of Northeastern Washington with my beautiful wife for 16 years, but now live in my home state of Wisconsin. God has blessed me tremendously and I am so thankful for His grace, and the people He has put in my life, and for His work in and around me.

God’s Promise: All Things Will Be New

Jesus tells us that He will return.  When He does, He will make all things new.  One day He will take us home and we who follow Him will be in heaven for all eternity.  What is here now will be gone.  What is to come will be so much better for those who accept Christ’s gift of eternal salvation.  He died for us so that we can be part of His kingdom forever.  His desire is that all would turn to Him.  Please don’t wait until it is too late. God’s promises: Jesus Will Return

Jesus promised that He will return.  He will come for His people.  He will reign on this earth and He will take His people home to be with Him forever.  Those who are in Christ should be excited and look forward to this day.  When He comes, He will bring His reward with Him to His children.  There will be great tribulation during that time, though.  Will He take His people home before or after?  That is another subject.  Whichever it may be, we need to be ready.  But in the meantime, if you are a believer, this will be a great moment.  I hope that all of you will consider this and if you do not know Jesus, please seek Him and accept the gift of grace that He offers freely to you before it is too late. God’s Promises: Comfort and Strength

In our weakness, God gives us strength.  When we struggle, He comforts us.  We will go through hardship; we will have times of weakness.  He doesn’t keep us from those times, He helps us to get through them.  He is always there for us, even when we don’t realize it.  The Spirit will guide us and strengthen us and pray for us. God’s Promise: Joy and Peace

The words of Jesus:

John 14:27-28

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  

John 15:11-12

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.  

John 16:33

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Jesus says, “Peace I give to you” and “your joy will be full.”  But, His peace and joy are much different than the world view of peace and joy.  That doesn’t mean everything will run smoothly in your life; it means that no matter what life throws at you, you will have peace and joy in your heart.  That God will lead you through it.  That Christ is by your side.  That the Spirit within you will give you strength.  That you will have confidence and faith, knowing that you will be in heaven with almighty God.
