November is right around the corner and so are the elections. Scary, right?! But God tells us again and again there is no need to fear. Do not worry. He is in control. Even if we end up with someone in office we do not like or is a tyrant or is not qualified, God has a plan and we need not fear. Many do not have the freedoms we have here in the U.S. Let us be grateful for what we have while we still have it (and pray for those who don’t). We know that there will be tough times ahead, but we also know we have hope in Jesus and that one day He will return. But more than that we can have peace and joy now, no matter what the outcome or circumstances we face in the future.
Psalms 27:1,4
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?. One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple.
With all the things going on in the world and with the elections soon to take place, no matter who gets in office, no matter what circumstances come my way, I will not fear because God is in control, and He is my king. I thank God for the assurance of dwelling with Him forever through the blood of the Jesus at the cross, who took my sins and washed them away.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
No matter the outcome in November, no matter where we are in life, no matter what country we live in, or who is the leader of our government, we can be content because God is with us and He loves us. As believers we can trust that God will keep His promises. Jesus says He will never leave you. When times are tough, we know that He is there and will get us through. We also have that hope that one day we will be with Him and the sufferings on this earth will not compare to the riches we will have in heaven.
Hebrews 13:5-8
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU.” So we may boldly say: “THE LORD IS MY HELPER; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?”
Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Romans 8:18-21
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Remember that no matter what happens, do not worry. God’s got this. He will make all things right. He is in control. And He loves us. So much so that He sent His only Son to pay for our sins through His death on the cross. He is our strength and our salvation. No one else.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
We can always be encouraged knowing that He is with us and will always make things right, no matter how bad things may be now. One day He will return and will make all things right and He is always with us in this present age to help us get through anything.
Philippians 4:12-13
I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Psalms 23:1-6
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
