Yesterday was Easter, or as I like to call it, Resurrection Sunday. It is not about Easter bunnies or eggs. Those things came from a pagan religion worshipping a false god of fertility. We need to remember what the holiday is truly about. It is about Jesus, Who died for our sins and was raised from the dead on the third day. It is about our redemption and salvation. It is about God’s grace and sacrifice
So, Who is Jesus? Some say He was a prophet, a good teacher a good person. Some say He was only an idea (Unfortunately for them, there is overwhelming evidence that He did exist). But He is much more than that. For me, He is the One who changed my life, who saved me, forgave me and overcame death so that I would have eternal life. And, He is so much more.
Jesus asked His disciples who they thought He was. Simon Peter had the right answer.
Matthew 16:15-18
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
Peter was right. Jesus is the Son of God. He is everlasting, He was there during creation, he revealed Himself to many before and after His life on earth. He is now at the right hand of God the Father.
Colossians 1:15-18
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Hebrews 1:1-4
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
Jesus loved us so much that He came to this earth, became a man, yet fully God, took the sins of this world upon His shoulders, and paid the price for them. He gave Himself so that we can be declared righteous, so that we can have eternal life in His presence.
Philippians 2:5-11
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
So, what does that mean for us? If we repent, believe and surrender to Jesus Christ, we will have eternal life. We have been delivered from our sins. We have a new identity in Christ. We become a new creation. We are born again. We owe it all to Him. Let us worship Him
Colossians 2:11-15
In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Colossians 1:13-14
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Colossians 1:19-22
For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight
Thank you, Lord for not giving up on me, for saving me, and giving me grace. Dear God, please help me to be closer to You, and to live in a way that honors you.

Strange, you start of very well, recognising that the apostles clearly saw who Jesus was, the son of God, but than your eyes got fogged by the human doctrines you wanting to see your god in him instead of taking Jesus for what he really has done, really having died. God can not die, so by making Jesus into your god you not only make of him a liar but also a fake or charlatan. that is a dishonouring act for the man who did not do his own will (what he would have done in case he was God), but did the Will of the Only One true God.
Reading your text it is clear that you are really muddled up and by mixing two different biblical characters do not seem to see clear any more. Please come to accept the Words of the Only One true God Who declared Jesus to be His only begotten son, and accept that sent one from God as the one who brought salvation for all mankind, being the way to God and the one who offered himself as a ransom, a lamb of God, having now been made higher than angels (he was lower than them before, though God is and always shall be the Most High) and taking up in the heavens to sit at God’s Right Hand (and not on God His seat) to be a mediator between man and God.

So, are you refuting the scripture that says Jesus is God? Part of the trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit? They are not my words, but the words of the Bible. I notice your article you do not use one scripture. I do not understand how you can say Jesus is not God, when He himself claimed, His apostles claimed it, the Bible claims it. I do agree with you about celebrating Easter and I do not have anything to do with eggs or bunnies. I mention this in my next post.

Nowhere in the Bible is said that Jesus would be God. Neither he nor his apostles claimed such a thing.

We should believe that the Omniscient Eternal Spirit God always sys the Truth. He Himself declared Jesus to be His son.

Those are great scriptures showing that the Trinity of God, God the Father, God the Son, God and the Holy Spirit of God. That gives me another idea for a future post! Thank you.
